You can go through the lessons individually at your own pace or take multiple lessons at once. General Assembly’s Bootcamp is a 3-day experience that begins with an introductory lecture and ends with a capstone project.
The introductory lecture covers the basics of web development, including HTML and CSS. You’ll be introduced to some of the most popular programming languages, like Python, JavaScript, and Ruby.
You’ll also learn how to use these languages in practice by building your website. The second day is dedicated to hands-on projects that allow you to build something practical and valuable with your newly-acquired knowledge.
Mentorship and Career Support
Mentorship and career support are offered throughout the Springboard Bootcamp program. All students have access to a dedicated coach who will guide them through the course, help them with their resumes, and provide them with industry advice.
They also have access to a community of alumni who can offer additional mentorship and advice. The General Assembly Bootcamp has a community of support for students as they learn new skills.
