Springboard’s Class Environment: Pros And Cons
Springboard’s classroom environment is exclusively online, with videos you watch at your own pace rather than attending lectures. For Elena Nurullina, this was perfect, as she did the course while pregnant and parenting a one-year-old baby. Thus, it’s ideal for people who need flexibility and can’t commit to attending online lectures at set times.
The downside to the setup is that there is no interaction with the lecturer or fellow students while watching the videos. This could be challenging for people who struggle to stay on task without an established schedule and structure.
Lastly, as Giovanni Rufino noted, with everyone going at their own pace, arranging study groups or discussing specific topics with your fellow participants is difficult.

Springboard assigns each student a mentor for their course. These mentors are people who work in the industry. Promise Morka found them patient and helpful. But as seen in Giovanni Rufino’s review, there is limited access to the mentor, often only 30 minutes per week.
There are also pros and cons to using mentors from the industry, as noted by Michael Novati. On the one hand, you have access to people working in the industry who can provide a real-world perspective on which skills you’ll need when on the job. But on the other hand, these mentors are not hired for their ability to teach, which could be frustrating.

Springboard Curriculum And Pricings: Pros And Cons
As stated on their website, Springboard works in partnership with Colt Steele and Rithm School. But unlike attending Rithm School, where there is greater interaction, Springboard teaches it via prerecorded videos. As Stasos Clark’s Course Report review noted, this makes Springboard more affordable than attending Rithm School.
However, as noted by Reddit, Springboard’s prerecorded videos based on the Rithm School means it lags with the ever-changing world of technology. Whereas Rithm School can pivot faster, bringing students the latest info. Even Stasos Clark’s positive review has some criticism of the curriculum.
