Morshed
Founder & Editor

Morshed Alam

Hi! I’m Morshed, the founder of Savvy Programmer. As a self-taught programmer, I know how difficult it can be to learn programming.

I learned QBasic and Visual Basic when I was 15. I initially struggled with the programming basics, and it took me longer than my classmates to get up to speed.

But I felt so satisfied when unlocking a new concept, such as variables, loop, and conditional statements (which I know are very simple stuff) 😂

After I graduated, finding a job was the next challenge I overcame. I’ve experienced lots of rejections and felt frustrated in the process. But there was light at the end of the tunnel when I figured out how to effectively approach the job search (e.g. resume writing, interviewing, etc.).

When I started a first job as a software engineer, I realized I only scratched the surface with coding. I got into debugging, building tests, and deploying software for the business world.

Even though it was an uphill battle to figure everything out in the first few months, my hard work paid off! 🔥

I’ve been developing software in finance, health and manufacturing industry for 10 years.

Programming is all about embracing challenges and thinking of creative solutions.

In the fiercely competitive and fast-paced industry of Information Technology, it’s easy to overload yourself with – well – information.

Through this blog, you can shape your own programming journey no matter how far into it you are! ❤️
